We are currently looking for a hard-working, detail-oriented carpenters to join our close-knit team.
Our projects are primarily commercial buildings ranging from the food service industry to medical clinics.

This full-time position will work alongside the project superintendent and subcontractors on various sites.

*SUMMARY* A Carpenter must have proficient knowledge of commercial and/or residential construction trades.
This position will require the ability to construct, erect, install, and repair structures and fixtures of various materials using the carpenter’s hand tools and power tools and conforming to local building codes.
Carpenter positions will be teamed up with experienced foremen who will train and support the role.
*Duties & Responsibilities* * Knowledge and ability to use many different hand and power tools safely, to cut and shape wood, plastic, drywall and other materials that the project requires.
* Ability to read drawings, follow blueprints and building plans to specifications and meet the needs of clients.
* Detail-oriented with good problem-solving, organizational, communication and time management skills.
* Ability to multi-task with a strong sense of meeting deadlines.
* Professional and positive; is courteous with strong customer service skills; flexible; ability to take initiative.
* Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, doors, stairs, roofs and molding.
* Knowledge of concrete formwork.
* Construct building frameworks, including walls, floors, and doorframes.
* Help erect, level, and install building framework with the aid of rigging hardware and hoists.
* Inspect and replace damaged frameworks or other structures and fixtures.
* Instruct and direct laborers and other construction helpers.
* Adhere to the safety protocols for the project and work in a drug-free environment.
* COVID-19: In response to COVID-19, all new hires must show proof of COVID vaccination or documentation showing a medical or religious exemption.
*Education & Required Skills* * High School Diploma or equivalent.
* Strong written, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* Good interpersonal and customer relation skills.
* Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction.
* Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers, etc.
) * Must be able to climb stairs or ladders.
* Ability to read technical documents and drawings.
* Proficient math/accounting skills.
* Reliable transportation is required.
* Good leadership skills.
* Functions effectively independently or as part of a team.
* Excellent time management and organizational skills.
* Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times.
* Computer proficient with the ability to adapt to new innovations and processes.
*Physical Requirements* * Must be able to lift at least 50lbs.
on a regular basis.
* Sufficient mobility and strength to move about on the job site without assistance.
* Frequent walking, bending, standing, reaching, pushing, pulling, stretching, squatting, crawling, and crouching.
* Ability to frequently and safely operate a ladder or scaffold.
* Good hand dexterity - repetitive motions (sustained movements of the wrists, hands, and fingers).
* While performing duties of this job, the employee will be required to be on-site and access all points of the construction in wide-ranging climates and environments.
* Employee is exposed to outside weather conditions as well as field office environments.
* Employee will occasionally assist in transporting materials from DD&C main office to the job site.
* Employee will on occasion work 2nd shift during construction stage/phase changes.
Employee may be required to work occasional weekend shift to meet project deadlines.
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary Pay: $24.
00 - $30.
