HIRING: SHIPPING CLERK (NE PORTLAND)

NW Employment Solutions is hiring a SHIPPING CLERK for a company located in NE Portland! Pay Rate: $18.
50 Shift: M-F, 7am-3:30pm Location: NE Portland, OR Summary: Prepare shipping documentation; package orders for shipment; requisition materials and supplies as required.
Duties: • Process and package orders for shipment • Pull orders and verify orders/parts to be shipped against order.
• Prepare orders for shipping throughout the day.
• Generate shipping documentation using various carrier programs (UPS, FedEx, USPS, etc.
).
• Meet daily quotas.
• Cross train in other areas as needed.
Requirements: • Must have your own vehicle (not public transit friendly) • MUST have updated resume.
• MUST have shipping experience 2+ years.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs+ • Must be able to push/pull 1000 pounds using a pallet jack • Knowledge of Outlook as well as familiarity with working on other Microsoft Office products, Windows Operating systems.
