has been satisfying the needs of our customers in the painting sector.
We are looking for a Field Operations Supervisor to join our team.
Our work primarily consists of multifamily and residential interior painting projects.
Our painters work independently throughout the Portland metropolitan area on jobs that typically run 1-2 days in length.
This position will require visiting multiple job sites daily, acting as a liaison between the property staff and the employees that are working on site to ensure that the customer expectations are being met.
You will need to maintain a safe and secure working environment while maintaining quality relationships with the customers, employees and neighboring properties.
This is a salaried customer service position focused on employee training and retention.
When this is done effectively, it will also result in customer retention and company growth.
Company growth directly correlates with your success.
The successful candidate will be required to undergo company training at the painter technician level.
The candidate will need to demonstrate the ability to meet MIRPDX, Inc.
standards from start to finish before advancing to Field Operations Supervisor.
Jobs will require a variety of skillsets.
Requirements
-Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, with up-to-date insurance.
-Verifiable experience of working as a Foreman or Crew Lead on painting job sites.
-Good interpersonal and communication skills.
-Must be self-motivated.
-Problem solving and time management skills.
-Flexible attitude and mindset.
Details on daily projects change frequently.
-Must maintain a clean and professional appearance, as this position is customer facing.
-Knowledge of painting industry specific products, and processes.
-Paint spraying experience required, including all necessary prep.
-Drywall repair experience, required, including texture matching.
Level 5 preferred.
-Must be able to carry a 5-gallon bucket of paint (up stairs) on a normal basis.
-Bilingual a plus!
Responsibilities
-Coordinate with HR department to recruit and train the staff according to the needs of the company.
-Train new employees on MIRPDX, Inc.
standard business practices.
(including painting)
-Coach employees on increasing their skillset.
-Supervise and evaluate painters, and their completed jobs.
(Quality control)
-Ensure the safety procedures are being followed.
(Use of respirators and ladders, and other PPE)
-Ensure employees are adhering to job timeline standards.
-Document interactions with employees if policies and procedures are not being followed.
-Report the work progress on a daily basis.
-Interact with property maintenance and management (customers) and verify scope of work.
-Troubleshoot any issues that occur on the job site and report them to upper management.
-Additional tasks, as required.
