Overview We are seeking a skilled and reliable Forklift Driver to join our team at LIT Workshop.
In this role, you will be responsible for operating forklifts, performing handyman tasks, and ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing environment, possess strong mechanical troubleshooting skills, and be able to read blueprints and create preventive maintenance plans.
Responsibilities Operate forklifts to safely transport materials and products within the facility Read and interpret blueprints to understand project requirements Create and implement preventive maintenance plans for machinery and equipment Perform electrical troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues Conduct machine safety inspections to ensure compliance with regulations Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues with machinery and equipment Assist with packaging tasks as needed Qualifications Valid driver's license Experience operating forklifts and possessing a forklift license Ability to read and interpret blueprints Knowledge and experience in creating preventive maintenance plans Electrical troubleshooting skills are a plus Experience working in a manufacturing environment Ability to perform machine safety inspections Excellent mechanical troubleshooting skills Packaging experience is desirable You should be proficient in: Blueprint Reading Creating Preventive Maintenance Plans Electrical Troubleshooting Skills Mechanical Troubleshooting Skills Hydraulics Experience Forklift Licensed Packaging Experience Machine Safety Inspections Experience in a Manufacturing Environment Driver's License Machines & technologies you'll use: Forklifts Salary info: $22 - $28 / hr
