Job Description Hourly Rate: $37.
92 Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6 am – 2:30 pm The General Maintenance Worker oversees all of the electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical equipment and associated systems for the facility, grounds, and production equipment.
The General Maintenance Worker will: Perform routine, preventive, and emergency repairs, under any circumstance or environment, in a safe, timely, and efficient manner Perform precision equipment installations using the appropriate measuring devices Calibrate and set-up measuring and inspection equipment throughout the plant The General Maintenance Worker should have: Previous experience with oxyacetylene cutting, structural welding and pipe welding PLC programming and troubleshooting experience and electrical and/or electronics training are strongly preferred Experience with Allen Bradley Drives, VFD’s, HMI’s, and 480V Motors/Controls is highly preferred Qualifications High School diploma or GED At least 5 years of experience as a mechanical journeyman or equivalent combination of education and experience Additional Information What we offer at O-I: O-I offers a very generous benefit package – some of the highlights are: Vacation time and paid holidays Health, dental, prescription and vision care coverage Generous insurance discounts with participation in Company wellness program Wellness incentive where you can earn money for your HSA or HRA Group life insurance Accidental death & dismemberment insurance Voluntary employee and dependent life insurance Weekly disability insurance Paid sick time Parental leave benefits 401(k) retirement saving plans with defined contributions All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
