MWH, a global leader in heavy civil construction of water and wastewater facilities, is currently seeking a VDC Engineer to support multiple projects ranging from water/wastewater infrastructure and semiconductor chip manufacturing industries in Oregon and California.

Essential Functions
Produces models, drawings, layouts, and sketches, of engineering designs, construction fabrications, and quantity takeoffs using BIM/CAD software.
Collaborates with design professionals and project participants during the modeling, coordination, and construction processes.
Implement VDC technologies and best practices including BIM coordination, 4D scheduling, 5D cost reporting, and VDC field applications.
Participate and lead BIM-based trade coordination with project construction teams and sub-contractors.
Prepare, monitor, and update visual plans and/or 4D/5D simulations of master and phase schedules.
Support on-site construction team efforts in the implementation of VDC/Digital Delivery applications and practices such as Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality.
Review trade partner BIM/VDC qualifications and advise project team during buyout of VDC services.
Basic Qualifications
A Bachelor of Science or higher university degree in Engineering or Construction Management, or related technical degree plus 2 yrs of related engineering or technical experience; OR MS degree in Engineering/other highly technical field plus 1 yr engineering/related technical experience.
Hands-on experience in the use of Synchro 4D planning software (or similar) for project applications in the AEC (Architect Engineer Construction) sector.
Hands-on experience in the use of Autodesk-based Building Information Modeling (BIM) toolsets and work practices, including minimum of 2 years of university and/or professional level application with Revit and Navisworks.
Project scheduling familiarity covering development of baseline schedules, incorporating subcontractor schedules, schedule updating and analysis of progress, including project compliance processes and audits.
Experience with reality capture tools and practices (laser scanning, drone data capture, and/or point cloud generation).

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, and other normal business applications.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with customer facing experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with Primavera scheduling/project management software.
Experience with Autodesk BIM 360 mobile applications.
Experience with Autodesk Assemble software.
Experience with CMiC construction management software.
