We are currently seeking an exceptional individual to join our client's rapidly growing facility in Portland, Oregon.
This is a full-time position Monday - Friday 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM - Compensation is 50K - 60K D.

Job Description - Facilities Manager This growth has created a great opportunity for someone with a can-do attitude in what they do.
We are a food ingredient manufacturer and distributor, specializing in natural sweeteners, fibers, and no added sugar inclusions located in NE Portland.
We are growing like crazy and want the best and brightest along for the ride! The Facilities Manager is responsible for oversight and maintenance of Icon Foods warehouse, grounds, and physical plant.
Essential Functions Oversee equipment maintenance and perform minor repairs and debugging.
Creation and implementation of logs and schedules for maintenance on all equipment.
Work in and aid in the general food production process, as needed, ensuring appropriate enforcement of GMPs, HACCP and SQF requirements.
Comfortable and competent driving a variety of vehicles including vans, delivery vehicles up to 26 feet, and electric pallet jacks.
Expert knowledge of facility maintenance including HVAC, electrical, and energy management systems.
Experience with budget management and completing initiatives on time and on budget.
This position will be responsible for assessing and addressing the service, maintenance and repair needs on an ongoing basis for all equipment.
Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as partnering and collaborating cross- functionally.
Ability to work at a fast pace, well under pressure, juggle multiple tasks, and work efficiently against tight deadlines.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work proactively, anticipate obstacles and provide solutions to minimize risk.
Ability to work nights or weekends, as needed only, based on emergency and the business needs.
While performing the duties of this job, the position is regularly required to communicate, converse and express oneself as well as physically operate, inspect and move inventory and keep records of all facility equipment.
Order supplies, as needed, in support of maintenance, repairs and upgrades to warehouse plant and equipment.
Project management of special projects and supervision & coordination of outside contractors.
Serve as key member of Food Safety Team.
Qualifications: Strong leadership skills: 3 years (Required) Supervisory experience: 3 years (Required) Budgeting: 1 year (Required) Moderate to high functional knowledge of ERP, Outlook, Excel and Word.
(Required).
Familiar with and/or managed SQF, BRC and GMP manufacturing facilities.
College degree is preferred, but not required.
The piece of paper is not important, but the ability to think and learn is.
