We’re looking for a PM shift Production Lead to join our team.
This role will be based in Portland and will be responsible for the following: Optimize day to day packaging activities while making decisions that would provide the best performance with respect to the company goals Solve small scale problems to keep production going smoothly Track labor data accurately Accurately request and fill out Batch Production Records (BPRs) Ensure a safe working environment for team members by enforcing safety guidelines Guide Packaging Technicians towards a lean/efficiency mindset Observe current working procedures and bring up suggestions for improvement Give and receive feedback from production members Train employees to create competent and independent team members Communicate with the inventory team to ensure any gaps in the material needs are filled Perform weekly assessment of consumables inventory Report any concerns to the appropriate management member Work closely with quality team members to ensure a product safety during packaging Ensure staff follows current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as well as other work procedures and company policies Attend meetings as needed Other duties as assigned Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Team player with a positive attitude Excellent organizational and leadership skills Demonstrated and effective use of basic computer skills Able to problem-solve mechanical and production related issues Able to multitask in a fast paced environment Work well within time restraints and able to meet deadlines Strong work ethic and hands-on approach Able to work individually or as part of a group Able to perform simple math calculations (adding, subtracting etc) Strong communication skills (verbal and written) Good attention to detail Physically able to perform all duties Benefits Comprehensive benefits (medical, vision, and dental insurance) Employee discount program Fully stocked kitchen 401K plan FSA & commuter benefits Employee development opportunities Company events This is a full-time role based in Portland, OR.
