Primary Responsibilities:
Providing construction services as required on small construction projects
Working with rough and finish carpentry
Working with drywall- start to finish
Painting
Installing pre-finished hardwoods and laminates
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years experience in construction
Minimum 2 years of installing drywall and mud
Texture experience preferred
Knowledge and skills to perform construction services as needed
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance
Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.
g.
, crawls spaces, attics)
Ability to sit/stand/walk for prolonged periods of time
Ability to work with/around cleaning products/chemicals
Ability to travel locally and out of state when necessary
Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable laws.
Effective oral communication
Basic math skills
Experience in cleaning/restoration preferred
High school diploma/GED

This is a full-time position, working 7:45 a.
m.
–4:15 p.
m.
, Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week.
This position occasionally requires long hours (beyond 8 hours a day), working on-call, and weekend work in support of emergency services.
Travel is required and is primarily local.
However, some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected.
Wages:
$23 to $30 per hour (paid bi-weekly), dependent on experience and leadership skills.
