Want to be a part of our team? The Deployment Services Project Manager is responsible for the implementation and deployment of all infrastructure-related requirements for NTT customers within the region in which they are located.
Standard suite of services implemented includes IT and data center related infrastructure from small, medium and enterprise client bases.
This position is accountable for the planning and managing of such requirements independently, while defining project timelines, and performing quality assurance on the installation and de-installation activities for internal and external customers.
The Deployment Services Project Manager is responsible for delivering critical facility documentation at closeout of each project, as well as status reporting and maintenance of as-built specifications to meet Deployment Services records retention standards.
Working at NTT ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Lead all aspects of client facing infrastructure projects from pre-implementation to post-implementation.
Provides ongoing project management for infrastructure projects throughout the life of the customer contract.
Develops project plans and reviews Basis of Design, supporting drawings and other associated documentation.
Identify construction issues, concerns, and defects, perform analysis, and present proposed solutions to manager; communicate information to client and project stakeholders.
Review drawings and documentation submitted by contractors to ensure they meet required specifications.
Ensure product quality, manufacturing, and serviceability meets installation standards.
Assists in review & verification of customer requirements and specifications.
Recommends appropriate process and procedure revisions as needed to focus on continuous improvement.
Schedules and facilitates project status meetings with clients, vendors, and internal project team.
Works with Deployment Services contractors and internal teams to coordinate and report on the implementation of projects and quality assurance testing.
Coordinates, places and tracks equipment orders and shipments to meet project deadlines.
Works with the appropriate internal technical staff and other subject matter experts to ensure test plans have been completed.
Coordinates and responds to requests for changes from original specifications.
Tracks and reports on quality assurance metrics.
Adheres to pre-defined departmental objectives and metrics to provide high level of customer service.
Responsible for safety adherence and reporting.
Performs other tasks as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Teams).
Proficiency with Bluebeam/Revit.
General understanding of drawing packages such as Visio and/or AutoCAD.
Working knowledge of Windows and SharePoint.
Knowledge of IT and data center infrastructure.
Knowledge of SSAE 16 and other industry certifications a plus.
Experience in writing and reviewing MOP (Method of Procedure) documents.
Possess excellent problem solving, critical thinking and interpersonal skills.
Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Possess excellent customer service skills.
Highly motivated self-starter.

A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience that includes 2 years of experience within the data center co-location industry is required.
Project management certification is preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Primarily sitting with some walking, standing, and bending.
Able to hear and speak with others and to use a telephone and 2-way radio.
Close visual work on a computer terminal.
Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate any required to operate computer keyboard, mouse, and other technical instruments.
Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
Frequently move about inside and outside of data center/facility.
Must be able to traverse and inspect all areas of jobsite in all types of weather; this may include walking, climbing, reaching, bending, crawling, or stretching.
WORK CONDITIONS Data Center and typical office environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
Extensive daily usage of a computer and/or workstation keyboards and terminals.
Onsite with ability to travel and work in regional Data Center Locations.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS Periodic travel to other NTT GDCA locations, client, or vendor.
Must be able to respond to emergency situations at the data center.
Responsible to carry a cell phone and provide 24 x 7 support as needed.
Must be willing to work outside normal business hours, including weekends, late nights, holidays.
Must possess a current, valid state-issued driver’s license.
Can travel internationally if required.
This position requires work to be done onsite at a data center facility and may require use of a personal mobile device.
A monthly stipend will be provided to cover expenses incurred for using a personal device, if applicable.

Base salary for this position is $101,000 - $126,000.
All regular full-time employees are eligible for an annual bonus; payout is dependent upon individual and company performance.
