The Sign Operator will run equipment or provide direct labor to assist with the installation of concrete/permanent/temporary sign installation, sign shop, traffic control, and warehouse duties.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Follow all safety rules and regulations
- Operate digger-derrick style auger/boom truck
- Operate backhoe, mini-excavator, and other similar equipment as required
- Lift, carry and stack materials and traffic control devices
- Wash and clean vehicles, equipment and traffic control devices
- Maintain delivery/pickup tickets
- Ability to read maps and knowledge of local streets
- Maintain accurate and timely driving logs
- Valid Driver’s License
- Full compliance with all safety initiatives
- Manually dig holes up to 5 feet in depth
- Work on overhead structures and supports
- Prepare daily time card and “On Street” reports
- General understanding of project plans and project specifications
- General understanding of standard drawings and specifications
- All other duties as assigned
Compensation:
The wage range for this position is $26.
24-$44.
55/hr
The majority of our work is prevailing wage allowing our team members to earn much higher annual wages
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Class A CDL with endorsements as required, clean driving record
- Ability to travel; up to 75% of a full month can be spent working within 50 mile radius of office
- Effective communication both verbal and written
- Ability to regularly lift/move up to 25 lbs, occasionally up to 75 lbs
