*Why Are We Hiring* We are building a robust and modern corporate accounting team, capable of scaling with our business and centralization initiatives.
We are looking to add an experienced accounting professional to our team who will manage key accounting processes within our corporate accounting department, as well as take on new projects with a fresh set of eyes.
*RESPONSIBILITIES* *About The Role* The _Senior Accountant_ will serve as a key team member within our corporate accounting group.
The role will include both routine responsibilities, including journals, reconciliations, and analyses, as well as project-based work as part of our ongoing initiative to refresh and uplift various processes for scale and efficiency.
We are a lean, fast-paced organization, and the role will be dynamic in nature.
We are an in-person team in Tualatin, OR.
The candidate will be involved in routine meetings with finance department management.
Detailed responsibilities include, but may not be limited to: * Prepare and coordinate month-end closing activities, including accruals, estimates, allocations, and other various journals and reconciliations * Prepare and facilitate monthly and quarterly financial flux reviews * Manage property tax filings and related accounting * Oversee non-routine/non-trade receivables activities * Manage and account for prepaid expenses * Oversee the accounting for corporate card expenditures and expense reimbursements * Prepare financial analyses as needed * Assist with our quarterly reviews and annual audit by our external audit firm * Assist with our quarterly tax provision and annual tax return preparation * Maintain and foster an environment of internal control as part of our SOX compliance program * Assist in other corporate accounting projects, as needed * Take pride in one’s work, executing responsibilities with attention to detail and due care * Maintain an open and transparent dialogue with one’s supervisor *QUALIFICATIONS* *Requirements* * Detail-oriented, highly productive, and ability to work independently and cross-functionally * At least 4 years of continuous accounting experience * An exceptional understanding of financial accounting * Strong analytical skills and an interest in solving complex problems * Experience building or improving processes utilizing system integration * Bachelor’s degree in accounting *Preferred Skills, Qualifications, and Experiences* * Strong Microsoft Excel proficiency and familiarity with related Microsoft Office 365 products * Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP experience * Public accounting firm experience (nice to have) * CPA license (have or in-process) *ABOUT US* Ichor is an experienced leader in the critical subsystems and turnkey process equipment marketplace.
