We take full advantage of the abundance of local ingredients available to us in Portland to create our soups, chilis, chowders, entrées, sauces, marinades, and puddings also including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options and are looking for someone who relates to our company culture to join the team! Job Description: Our company is seeking skilled workers for Production.
The ideal candidate for this position must be a self-starter who is capable of communicating effectively with supervisors and other employees.
Job Responsibilities: Learn production duties in packaging and sanitation areas.
Learn quality standards and learn to ensure areas are being as productive as possible.
Learn cleanliness and food safety standards and ensure that work areas are kept clean and hazard-free.
Understand and ensure adherence to General Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) to make safe quality food.
Learn to ‘multitask’ and will cross-train in both packaging and sanitation production areas.
Learn to perform shift change duties as required.
Learn and implement all required safety procedures and the consistent and appropriate uses of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications: · Ability to work and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
· Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Physical Requirements: · Must be able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly.
