Columbia Crossings, Portland’s largest marina, is seeking dedicated, hard-working individuals with knowledge and experience in concrete to join as part of our CAPEX team.
This person will work alongside our experienced team of construction and maintenance professionals to improve the condition of our docks and uplands, including long-term investment projects.
Our docks, parking lots, and landscaped areas have extensive concrete surfaces that require refurbishment.
In addition, we have extensive plans for new docks and facilities that require concrete work.
We need a specialist who can implement and be responsible for the concrete elements of these multi-year projects.
Particular consideration will be given to candidates eager to expand their skills beyond concrete work to help us to maintain our marine facilities to the highest standard.
Those with strong concrete construction experience and other trade/technical skills are strongly encouraged to apply.
Most importantly, demonstrated reliability, motivation, work-ethic, attention to detail, and eagerness to develop new skills are characteristics we value the most.
*Tasks include:*
* Working in an outdoor environment in variable weather conditions
* Undertaking skilled concrete work
* Performing other construction/maintenance tasks where required (carpentry, etc.
)
* Working with our harbormaster and CAPEX teams on priority improvement and capital projects
* Other tasks and projects as requested by tenants and management .
