Boeing Commercial Airplanes is seeking Manufacturing Planners to support all passenger, freighter, and military derivative airplane programs located Portland, Oregon, including 737, 767, 777, 787, KC-46, and P-8.
We are hiring Associate, Mid-Level, and Senior planners to support our Fabrication production lines.
A successful candidate in this role will have passion, creativity, and a steadfast desire for process improvement and efficiency.
They will also have a strong desire to be out in the factory, interacting with mechanics and electricians, and directly supporting the production system.
They will also be expected to collaborate with teams located at our Global partner sites.

Each day, you'll work alongside professionals in production, quality, design, and supply chain roles to guide aircraft from design to delivery and beyond.
Bring your ideas to Boeing and help shape the future of aerospace manufacturing! Primary Responsibilities: Develops, implements and maintains various manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials, work instructions and illustrations to define and document as-built configuration.
Assists with development and integration of suppliers, processes, materials, data and technology to meet manufacturing and delivery requirements.
Assists in reviewing supplier data to ensure manufacturing related requirements are met.
Identifies tooling requirements and initiates tooling orders based on manufacturing and engineering requirements.
Assists in tooling dispositions.
Investigates and resolves manufacturing related issues of limited scope.
Assists with producibility assessments for part or product designs.
Assists in providing input to design, manufacturing processes and manufacturing technologies to meet cost and schedules.
Develops work statements and sequencing of events to support delivery commitments.
Assists in the review, maintenance and monitoring of internal documents.
Works under general supervision.
Work Authorization: The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience): 1 or more years experience in a manufacturing production environment.
1 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
1 or more years of relevant aerospace or military experience Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): 3 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
6 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience with Manufacturing Engineering Planning systems such as Product Data Manager (PDM), Common Manufacturing Execution System (CMES) and Computer Aided Process Planning (CAPP).
Typical Education/Experience: Associate: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.
g.
Associate) and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.
g.
Bachelor, 3 years' related work experience, etc.
).
Mid-Level: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.
g.
Associate) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.
g.
Bachelor+1 years' related work experience, 5 years' related work experience, etc.
).
Senior: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.
g.
Associate) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.
g.
Bachelor+4 years' related work experience, 8 years' related work experience, etc.
).
Relocation: This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Applicable and appropriate educational/certification credentials from an accredited institution and/or equivalent experience is required.
