*A little about the role:*
The Facility & Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for maintaining equipment and utilities.
This position must establish and maintain a Preventive Maintenance plan and conduct the job according to the plan.
This position may get involved and control all construction schedules and co-work with construction or equipment contractors.
The Facility & Maintenance Supervisor must provide leadership on the direct maintenance staff and resolve any equipment installation, construction, and maintenance issues.
*ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES*
* Establish preventive maintenance plans and procedures.
* Supervise and train maintenance staff.
* Monitor all equipment and utilities operations conditions.
When any issues occur, conduct corrective action and preventive action.
* Ensure parts from machines are correctly installed/in-place, meet quality standards and are labeled correctly.
* Oversee required work training for new and existing employees.
* Ensure operators have the tools needed to complete the job: boxes, safety supplies, labels, etc.
* Ensure the team members take breaks and mealtimes in a timely manner while in compliance with labor law.
* Provide input to manager/supervisor involving employee relation issues and job performance.
* Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
* Ensuring safety guidelines are followed.
* Resolving production problems (equipment & utility supplies)
* Facilitating team participation.
* Ensure all employee production team members are following all
* OHSA guidelines.
* Monitor building, equipment, and utility efficiency.
* High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
*REQUIRED*
* Licensed in General Contractor and/or Electrical preferred.
*EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS*
* At least 5 years Facility & Maintenance field experience
* Food processing industry experience preferred.
* Train and supervise the employees, maintenance lead and production employees.
* Working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
* Good understanding at OSHA regulation
* Previous experience inspecting food processing equipment and its parts and working with measuring devices.
* Strong verbal communication.
* Good decision-making skills.
* Ability to provide feedback.
* Ability to organize and make sound decisions in a high pressure, high volume, and fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.
00 - $70,000.
