Job Summary: Quality Mortgage is offering a great opportunity for new or seasoned Loan Officers to join us in the wholesale lending world.
We are looking for a loan officer in both our Hillsboro and Salem location, who is looking to start a new adventure with a wholesale broker that will give you all the tools, flexibility and competitive compensation to be successful in your career.
Our compensation, as mentioned if very competitive and we offer in house loan processing, and depending on volume, an assistant as well.
The Loan Originator will market/solicit for new business alone or with an assigned mentor, as well as having the option of working company provided leads that are already coming directly from realtor referrals.
The LO will then qualify and take the mortgage loan application, to offer loan programs and options to the potential borrower.
Responsibilities: * Learn or have knowledge in loan originating * Meet target goals and set realistic expectations * Learn or have experience with FHA, Conventional and Non-QM Loans * Attend meeting when necessary * Be coachable/fast learner * Understand client needs and expectations * Pre-approve borrowers and provide pre-approval letters to clients/realtors * CRM knowledge is a big plus * Be compliant with NMLS licensing, regulations and continuing education * Hours are flexible, LO determines their own schedule/hours * Take information from the prospective borrower and complete the loan application form.
* Stay in close communication with borrowers during the loan process * Have a good follow up system in place * Have great communication skills * Provide information to your prospective borrowers about their mortgage loan options as well as provide recommendations based on your findings.
* Maintain good communication with your business partners and follow up in a timely manner * Keep a close eye on your pipeline and communicate with your processing team * Collect loan documents from borrowers as needed * Order credit report, appraisals or any other loan item as needed * Be a resource to your borrower through closing/signing * Duties and or assignments are subject to change Requirement: * MLO License or be able to get one in a timely manner (120 days if coming from a bank) * MLO license must be kept in good standing * Knowledge of mortgage loan products is preferred but not required * Mortgage experience is preferred but not a requirement * Effective communication is a must and be self-driven * Have transportation to get to and from appointments * Phone and people skills are must * Able to work under little to no supervision * Fluency in English, written, oral, spoken is a must * Spanish as a second language preferred but not required Other Requirements: Job might require for you to lift up to 25 lbs, sit or stand for a longer period of time as well as prolonged use of equipment such as computer and phone.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $29,120.
00 - $250,000.
