About Us - AV Equity Inc.
is a growing Real Estate Investment office specializing in the purchase and development of real estate, as well as operating & managing a holdings portfolio of properties.
We are searching for a Bookkeeper / Office Manager who is professional, eager to learn, and diligent in their work.
This position will allow for flexible hours and an easy-going office environment that creates a great opportunity for work-life balance.
Your Role – - Being dynamic & flexible, ready to assist with a wide variety of tasks around the office - Managing bookkeeping for Real Estate Holdings and Construction departments - Managing accounts payable and receivables processes - State & city licensing and taxes filing up to date compliance - Processing bills, invoices, payroll, paying loans, credit cards, ACH transfers, etc.
- Preparing monthly reports for management review - Work with CPA throughout the year and prep for Year-end business tax filing - Assist in the management of properties, reviewing delinquencies, income/expenses, leasing, portfolio review, loan maturities, tenant communication, etc.
- Assist the construction/maintenance team with day-to-day operations - Assist in transaction coordination when buying/selling properties - Assist teams with general admin tasks in daily office operations - Company errands, calls, emails, correspondence etc.
- Willing to help establish internal systems and processes to help with growth and organization working directly with the owners Skills Wanted – - We are open to training the right candidate for the day-to-day tasks - Prior experience in real estate investment/construction is a plus but not required - Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, as well as Excel, Word - Well organized with good communication skills - Able to multitask and prioritize responsibilities - Most importantly an enthusiastic and positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow into this position Position offer – - $20-25 / Hr Depending on experience and accounting knowledge - 40 hours Full time.
