*Job Title*: Assistant Community Manager In the Downtown area
*Job Summary*:
The Assistant Community Manager assists the Community Manager with day-to-day property management activity.
*Job Responsibilities*:
* Comply with Fair Housing and Equal Housing Opportunities requirements
* Comply with State Residential Landlord and Tenant Acts and all other governmental laws/regulations
* Assist with the collection of rent and ensure timely bank deposits
* Prepare lease documents.
Verify compliance with lease files, accurate completion of applications, income verifications, asset verifications and other related paperwork
* Respond to resident complaints and provide resolution
* Accept applications, conduct property tours, track and follow up with potential residents
* Code and post invoices accurately and timely
* Enter resident activity into online database in an accurate and timely manner
* Responsible for processing and posting notices to residents
* Increase resident retention by establishing and maintaining positive, professional relationship with residents
* Other duties as assigned by the Community Manager
*Qualifications required*:
* High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
* 1-3 years related experience
* Excellent customer service skills
* Ability to work as part of a team
* Previous experience in customer service and administrative tasks.
* Basic bookkeeping and general mathematical principles preferred.
* Proficiency in both verbal and written communication skills.
* Pre-employment background check required.
