Are you organized and detail-oriented with a passion for property management?* We're seeking a highly motivated Assistant Property Account Manager to join our team! You'll play a vital role in ensuring our clients – property owners, tenants, contractors, and vendors – experience top-notch service.
```Duties``` * Assist in managing all aspects of tenancies and property maintenance for our portfolio.
* Be the friendly voice for our tenants, handling inquiries and concerns.
* Coordinate with potential renters and showings, ensuring a smooth experience.
* Partner with the Property Account Manager to manage maintenance requests, vendor communication, and meticulous record-keeping.
* Source and vet qualified third-party vendors when needed.
* Help create compelling rental marketing materials to attract new tenants.
* Assist with managing portfolio correspondence, ensuring all records are accurate and organized.
* Handle tenant arrears professionally, including issuing notices when necessary.
* Support the Property Account Manager with lease renewal processes.
* Guide tenants through the move-in and move-out experience.
* Answer incoming calls and participate in team meetings.
* Continuously develop your skills through training sessions.
* Proactively suggest improvements to procedures and processes.
* Take ownership of your work and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
```Experience``` * Have a keen eye for detail and excel at organization.
* Think analytically and enjoy problem-solving.
* Possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-centric approach.
* Can work independently and take initiative.
* Are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, email, and property management software (Appfolio preferred).
* Thrive in a collaborative environment and work effectively with diverse teams.
*Bonus points for:* * 1+ year of property management experience.
* Local area knowledge.
* Understanding of basic accounting principles and property maintenance.
* Working knowledge of relevant legislation (Residential Tenancies Act, Strata Titles Legislation, etc.
) and certificates of registration.
