I've been collecting, restoring and reselling horns for 14 years, and I picked this one up a few years back.
It is a quirky, unique instrument (why I bought it), but, as I play a 1908 Eb tuba for Tuba Christmas, this needs a more loving home than I can provide.
It is silver-plated brass, 4 valves (the 4th switches which bell is used), and from a time and place when the Titanic was still afloat, and the Great War had not begun.
Own a lightly used (as evident by the in-tact leather strap in the original case) horn that will turn heads.
The plating in the valves is worn (see photos), but the compression is good and the sound is just fine! These don't come up for sale very often, and when they do they're often in the $3000+ range.
