EMG SL20* Steve Lukather Active loaded pick guard.
Like New.
(*Has EMG 57 humbucker as opposed to the stock EMG 85)
I could explain the EMG SL 20 but it might be easier for you to just go to emgpickups.
com >guitar>pickgaurd sets and look at the SL 20, the SLV single coils, and the 57 humbucker.
They are active pickups so you need a battery(which I will supply).
I along with many others manage to fit the battery under the pick guard when mounting it to the guitar body.
no need to do any soldering as the pick ups are active there is no need to ground them.
If you have a Stratocaster body, it is as simple as taking out your old pick guard and screwing in this one.
The cable, jack and all the pick up connections are solder free with EMG’s plug and play design.
Makes swapping out different pickups a breeze.
No tools needed other than a screwdriver to take the pick guard back off.
I have another fully loaded EMG Pick guard that I use on a Stratocaster.
It turns out this was just close enough to the set I already had so thought it would be best to pass it on.
The SL 20 usually retails for $280 and the 57 humbucker costs an extra
$20 compared to the EMG 85 making it closer to $300 retail.
The set is like new.
Asking $240.
There are no scratches to the pick guard or pick ups.
Active pick ups are great if you are looking for dead silent pick ups even with high gain.
Doesn’t pick up 60 cycle hum.
I’m a huge fan of EMGs with pedals.
Feel free to call or text with questions.
