PRICE DROP! - Running Dog “Sprite” Terz Guitar - $2,400 (NE Portland)

This is an exquisite Running Dog Terz guitar and is my favorite guitar out of a fairly large collection.
Once you hear it, you’ll know why.
But now it’s time to find a new home for it.
The Sprite was hand-built by master luthier Rick Davis in 2010.
The soundboard is Adirondack spruce; the back and sides are Vermont sugar maple; and the rosette is crushed Mediterranean “blood” coral.
It features a 21 ½ inch scale, 11 ½ lower bout.
It also comes with a built-in pickup system for direct recording or connecting with a guitar amp.
Terz guitars are traditionally tuned up a 3rd from G to G, but other tunings are possible and fun to try.
I was last in touch with Rick Davis 3 years ago, and he was semi-retired at that point.
It’s highly unlikely that any more of these guitars will be made again.
I believe the starting price for a new one was $3,750.
I’ve lowered the price to $2,400! This guitar is in excellent to like-new condition and comes with a hard shell case.
