About the amp:
This 1960's Bogen Challenger was originally designed to be a PA head.
Since then, guitarists have found out that with a few simple mods, this amp becomes a great guitar rig with Fender tones.
Grab some vintage tone for a fraction of the cost of a boutique or reissue amp.
Clean bill of health:
* All MARBELITE wax tone capacitors left original
* All original carbon-oxide resistors left in place
* Filter caps replaced while leaving original cans in place.
New caps from renowned manufacturers such as Rubycon, IC and Sprague.
* Replaced few resistors which showed different than nominal value, tone/signal section intact
* Replaced cathode cap in the power section which showed different than nominal value
* Installed 3-prong power cord for safety
* Installed 1/4" front jack for guitar
