Have a clean title in hand, never got the bike registered in my name, though.
Runs great, shifts great, have never had any mechanical issues or drama with it whatsoever.
Did an oil change, oil filter, spark plugs and gear oil on 12/11/23 and put 2 or 3 miles on it just to make sure everything was happy.
Used Yamalube 15w-50, a K&N oil filter, NGK DPR8EA-9 plugs and 80w-90 gear oil for the shaft drive.
Also had the fork seals redone by Yamaha Sports Plaza less than 500 miles ago (using Honda fork seals I sourced), as well as a new EBC front rotor and EBC Double H sintered brake pads installed by me probably 300 or so miles ago.
Had some sort of aftermarket header and muffler system installed before I bought it, as well as a recovered seat, stainless steel front brake line and a Dynojet jet kit for the carburetors.
I also suspect the clutch was replaced fairly recently before I purchased it.
Will include a new, in package set of EBC brake pads along with purchase.
As far as issues, they're fairly minor.
When I put the forks back on after getting them done, I think I forgot to plug something back into the headlight as the high beam, which worked perfectly beforehand, no longer worked.
Sometime after that, it also started popping headlight fuses.
The kill switch also doesn't work.
I've simply been turning it off using the ignition key.
Beyond that, the bike is solid.
This was my first "real" bike and I put about 1,400 miles on it in about 3 months.
Got another bike recently, so I simply don't need this one.
I can confirm it would make a great first bike, or a nice around town cruiser.
Makes enough power to be safe in traffic, but not enough to get you in trouble if you're new.
