Washington county Peapod built in the late 80’s by a couple who attended the Northwest school of Wooden boats.
They apparently bonded over the build and were married shortly thereafter.
The boat is 16’ long, has oars, rudder, sculler, mast, sprit, old school oar holders (name escapes me) but no sail.
There are 2-3 planks that were replaced at some point but it is a solid build with absolutely no rot or punky wood.
Comes on a solid, like new trailer that has a spare and current tags.
Obviously, will need a quick clean, varnish, paint, pine tar or whatever suits the new owner.
Always stored covered and out of the elements.
These Peapods finished are on Craigslist occasionally for 10-12K
Will include a copy of Chapelle’s 1951 book which is also in great shape.
