As a lifetime builder of motorcycles, hot rods and other types of vehicles, I started collecting parts for this bike in 2010.
I finished the bike in 2019 and got it titled as a 2010 assembled vehicle (ASVE).
The bike, with a new springer front suspension proved unrideable as the spring rate was too high for the weight of the bike and rider.
I put the bike in storage until last winter when I installed new wheels and tires and the front suspension from a 2007 Harley Sportster to correct the ride problem.
The Sportster front suspension made the bike too high in front, so I installed a set of lowering springs which then did not provide enough suspension travel thus rendering the bike unrideable except for on smooth surfaces.
I have lost interest in the bike, and it is for sale.
A new owner could install the original Sportster springs (provided), respring the springer front end (included) or find a different front suspension.
The bike's frame is a Kraftech rigid with stock rake and stock rear end dimensions.
I purchased this frame new and had it powder coated.
The engine is a 1999 Harley Evo out of the Softail that I purchased new.
It has approximately 12K well maintained miles on it as does the original 5 speed transmission.
The bike has a Mikuni smooth bore carb.
and a new crank output shaft oil seal was installed for a leak free primary belt drive.
The wiring harness is a commercial harness for Harleys.
The ignition is a Crane H4.
This engine starts immediately cold, and this bike now has approximately 30 total miles on it per testing and a trip to the DMV.
I do not have the garage space to keep this bike as "garage art" so it is for sale.
Since the bike is basically unrideable, I do not expect to get all my money out of it, so I am a motivated seller.
The bike includes the springer and related brake mount parts as well as the original Harley Softail wheels and tires if someone wants them.
If you are interested, put a reasonable offer in your reply.
If the amount works for me then come look at the bike with no obligation to buy.
