We have an opportunity for a Nurse Manager, Inpatient Services.
Responsibilities:
The Nurse Manager provides leadership in working cooperatively with nursing and other patient care personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting.
The Nurse Manager maintains clinical skills and acts as both a clinical leader and resource nurse, as well as, administrative leader, assuming 24-hour responsibility for the unit.
This position will be responsible for overseeing daily nursing practice in an assigned department to ensure that safe and appropriate care is provided.
The Nurse Manager will collaborate actively with medical, administrative, and interdisciplinary leadership to ensure optimal patient care outcomes.
Qualifications:
5 years clinical experience, two yrs.
in an acute care/inpatient setting in pediatrics is preferred
Management or progressive leadership experience is strongly preferred
BSN and/or Master’s in Nursing required
Must have current unencumbered Oregon RN license
Must have American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers CPR and PALS or PEARS Certification
Must have strong business computer skills and electronic medical record experience (Cerner/EPIC preferred)
