Exceptionally clean 2006 GMC Sierra 2500HD 6.
6 Duramax.
Early LBZ.
Has the LLY VIN, but the 6 Speed Allison Transmission, which were never offered with the LLY.
If you don't believe it's an LBZ, look at the engine compartment pictures I'm including, then google pictures of LBZ and LLY engine compartments.
You will see that the LLY does not look the same.
Clean Carfax, according to which, I am the second owner.
This truck was used, I believe, as someone's retirement rig.
It seems like all it did is haul a 5th wheel trailer to RV parks around the country.
Given how clean it is, and how tight the steering and suspension are, the miles were mostly out on the highway.
No signs of abuse of any kind.
The mileage on it when I bought it in July of 2022 was 164,974.
Current mileage is 167,854.
New brake pads front and rear, and brake fluid flushed @ 165,000 – Rotors were good for one last turn.
I'm including a complete set of PowerStop rotors, pads and hardware for when the time comes for new brakes.
Replaced both front vehicle speed sensors, and transmission speed sensor with new AC Delco units at the same time.
Front wheel bearings look and feel like new.
Transmission service and coolant flush @ 165, 425 Oil change and new fuel filter at 167,139.
The tires are 285/75/R16 BF Goodrich KO2's, and were brand new when I bought the truck, so just less than three thousand miles on them and no real wear showing.
This truck is super clean.
It is completely bone stock aside from the larger than stock tires, and maybe the running boards.
No mods have been done at all as far as the engine, exhaust system, suspension, running gear, cooling or fuel system.
The previous owner had a 5th wheel hitch in it as evidenced by the bed holes.
Factory trailer wiring has been split and jumpered over to a 5th wheel plug mounted in the bed.
Wiring for both locations works as it should.
Work done by previous owner @ 158,068 - Both thermostats replaced - EGR valve & cooler replaced I had a complete inspection/evaluation done by Vision Diesel & Powersports in Aurora, OR when I had the oil and fuel filter change done.
They noted that the truck runs excellent, fuel injector balance rates are spot on, fuel rail pressure actual and desired held perfectly.
Transmission shifts great and the steering is uncommonly tight and responsive.
They said it's overall one of the nicest 06-07's they've seen in a very long time.
They did note the following issues, which they said with are to be expected from a truck of this age.
They said that none of these issues are urgent, and can be taken care of as time and funds allow.
Both power steering lines are seeping Rear of upper oil pan is starting to leak transfer case output shaft seal is leaking Front main seal is leaking slightly transmission cooler lines are leaking near radiator coolant line from heater core to EGR cooler is leaking at the clamp to on the EGR cooler.
The interior is extremely clean.
Nice clean headliner.
No sign of smoking in the truck.
No sign of sitting in the sun baking or anything like that.
It looks to have been garage kept when not out on the road.
This being a leather interior truck, the outside of the drivers side seat cushion, as is usually the case, shows some flaking of the leather where the driver slides across.
It's not torn or compromised though.
Pretty typical.
Also, there is a clip missing from the drivers side kick panel cover where the hood latch release is, and that cover will pull away from the kick panel when the hood release is actuated.
It stays where it should be otherwise.
It's an easy enough part to replace if it bothers you.
The power towing mirrors are not functioning correctly by the switch, but work fine manually adjusting.
One mirror will adjust up and down with the power switch controller, but not side to side.
The other side does the opposite.
It'll go side to side but not up and down.
The built in turn signal LED's on one side blink, and the other side do not.
It doesn't really bother me, so I've just been adjusting them manually as needed.
If I were going to keep the truck I'd get new mirrors as apparently repairing these factory units isn't really worth the cost.
There is a minor bend in the top center of the tailgate.
It's slight and doesn't affect the operation.
It was there when I bought it.
It looks like something smacked it from the inside.
My guess is the 5th wheel hitch from the previous owner.
It doesn't show up in photos well, but just to put all the cards on the table, it is there.
There are some minor imperfections in the paint in various spots but they are very small.
Not much beyond pencil tip sized.
Previous owner used touch-up paint on them.
There is zero rust in this truck.
In fact the underside looks near new.
We've towed several different travel trailers ( not 5th wheels ) for vacations with it and it never heated up, pulls effortlessly, braking action is great, and gets way better mileage than my gas rig of the same year.
At the time of this listing, everything not previously noted works as it should.
I just put in a new windshield and had it professionally detailed.
Clean Oregon title in my name.
